25MY DESIGN...
"My backpack is inspired by nature. I like sunflowers and cactus so I put them on it. I used pom-poms, beads, fabric, buttons, markers, flowers, patches, and glitter glue." ​

"I'm 10 years old. My idea for my backpack design came from nature. Other kinds of art I like to do are painting and making jewelry. I like all kinds."

"I made a flamingo backpack. It's fuzzy. I used pom-poms, fabric, beads, and feathers."​

"I'm 7 years old. I wanted to make this backpack because I like flamingos a lot. Other kinds of art I like to do are painting, drawing, and clay."

"I made my backpack to look like my cat, "Gizmo." I used string, buttons, backpack straps from a backpack I took apart, and fabric.

"I'm 8. I wanted to make this backpack because I have two cats and I like them. Other kinds of art I like to do are drawing, painting, and clay."

"My backpack has flamingos on it. I used puffy paint to draw the flamingos onto my backpack."​

ABOUT THE ARTIST...
"I'm 10 years old. I was inspired to make a flamingo backpack by one of the backpacks we took apart that had flamingos on it. Other kinds of art I enjoy are painting, making things out of clay, and drawing."

29 MY DESIGN...
"I made a pink backpack with a coconut tree, smiley face, stars, "BFF," my name, hearts, circles and it's a lot of fun! I used pom-poms, cheetah fabric, feathers, glitter paint and glue, gems, and I used a friendship bracelet I found in backpack I took apart."​

"I'm 8. My idea for my backpack just popped up in my head. Other kinds of art I like to do are painting, coloring and drawing."

30MY DESIGN...​
"My backpack is a "pool bag" so that I can use it to put my swim things in it to take to the pool. I made a beach ball, flip flops, and I wrote, "Pool Days are Here!," "Summer!!!" and my name. I used glitter hot glue, hot glue, puffy paint, glitter, sequins, and a key chain."

"I'm 9. I wanted to make this backpack because I want to take it to the pool. The idea just came to me. Other kinds of art I like to do are drawing, coloring, painting, and crafts."

31MY DESIGN...
"I really like animals so I have dogs and flamingos on my backpack. I made a beach towel holder. I have four cupholders and four storage areas. I used fabric, pom-poms, parts from another backpack, and hot glue."​

"I'm 9 years old. I wanted to make this backpack because I like to make crafts. Other kinds of art I enjoy doing are painting, collage, drawing, and building."

32 MY DESIGN...
"I started thinking of something with a galaxy for my backpack and then it turned into a ladybug. I had a couple of challenges, but I made it through. I used chenilles, tubing, fabric, paint, a backpack, and parts from a backpack we took apart."​

"I'm 12 years old. I wanted to make this backpack because I wanted to have it for pretend play. Other kinds of art I like to do are drawing, coloring, paper origami, crafts, puzzles, and diamond dots."

33MY DESIGN...
"I put a mushroom on my backpack and made a little pocket. I also put on a football and soccer ball and rocket patches. I used part of a strap from a backpack I took apart. I made a keychain with a zipper end and rings. I put a puppy on there, too. I used puffy paint, fabric, fabric pens, beads, and chenilles."

"I'm 7 and 1/2. I wanted to make this backpack because the idea popped into my head. My favorite kind of art to do is doodling."

34MY DESIGN...
"I used part of an old backpack to create a secret pocket on my backpack. I also added a rainbow made of paint. I used puffy paint, shoe string, and beads. ​

"I'm 8. I made this backpack because I thought it was really cool to put the unicorns and a rainbow on it. My favorite kinds of art to do are making things with wood using a saw and making things out of Legos."

"My backpack is a soccer backpack. I'll use this bag for soccer practice and to carry equipment. I used puffy paint and permanent marker." ​

"I'm 15 years old. I wanted to make this backpack because I really like soccer and I can use it for soccer practice. My favorite kind of art to do is sewing."

36MY DESIGN...
"My backpack is based on softball and it is very colorful. I used hot glue, glitter glue, fabric, a carabiniere, and puffy paint."

"I'm 12 years old. I wanted to make this backpack because I needed another softball bag and I thought it would be cool. Other kinds of art I like to do are painting, sketching, clay, and fun and crazy kinds of art."
